Equitrails offers - a variety of horse riding activities to both the local and tourism market. Emphasis is on riding in as safe an enviromnent as possible while having maximum fun. Rides are guided by a first aid trained British Horse Society qualified instructor with ten years horseback guiding experience in Africa.
The best way to experience the spectacular scenery of Namibia is on horseback - and the horses are all friendly with good manners. They are well schooled, responsive and comfortable to ride. The saddlery is English style and kept in very good condition.

For visitors to Namibia with limited time available to them, a morning or afternoon horse ride is the perfect way to start your journey.

First aid kit and bottled water are carried on all rides.
Radio or cellphone reception is kept at all times.
What to bring - It would be in your best interest to bring the following along for your rides:
Long comfortable - not too tight - trousers or leggings. Sensible closed shoes with a small heel and non slip sole. Long sleeved cotton shirt to protect from the sun. Hard helmets will be provided and strongly recommended. Sun block and lipsalve are recommended. All riders will be required to sign an indemnity form prior to riding.
