The Diamond Works Experience! - The diamond works is a place you can discover, explore and experience the ancient art of diamond cutting and jewellery manufacturing. A tour of the Diamond Works also provides the unique opportunity to purchase world class diamonds and jewellery for yourself and your loved ones.

The Tour - The Sparkling tour is offered in a variety of languages, this coupled with our personal touches guarantees your Diamond Works experience will be a unique and memorable one.Included in our tour are our "Diamond wall of Fame" and Tanzanite Boutique. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine whilst you discover the 4 C's of Diamonds as listed below and the history behind the world's most sought after gemstone.

Colour - Colour refers to colour quality and its degree of saturation. The depth of colour ranges from Exceptional to Pale. The deeper the colour, the more valuable the Tanzanite.ly,

Clarity - Clarity refers to any natural flaws and inclusions in a tanzanite. Tanzanites range from Eye Clean to Heavily included. The more flawless the tanzanite, the more valuable it is.

Cut - Cut refers to a tanzanite's brilliance, proportions and finish. An excellent cut ensures that the stone's facets reflect light to create maximum brilliance. The more precise the craftman's cutting, the more valuable the tanzanite.

Carat - Carat Weight is the term used to measure a tanzanite's weight. One carat has 100 points. Two seemingly identical tanzanites will have different Carat Weights if they vary in depth.

Confidence - The 5th C is Confidence and is only applicable to tanzanite which is accompanied by the Mark of Rarity trade mark. It is assurance that your tanzanite has followed an ethical route to the market.
Our personal touches include our complimentary internet Cyber Cafe which allows you to email home, browse the internet and speak to loved ones via our webcam facilities. The whole tour takes about 20minutes.
